What we collect
The minimum to make the app work:
- Account: a username, password (hashed), and display name you choose.
- Posts: photos, videos, restaurant info, ratings and notes you publish to Discover.
- Saved restaurants: stored on your device. Only synced if you save a post from the public feed.
- Device location: only when you tap to use it on the map. Never sent to our server.
What we don't do
- No third-party analytics or trackers.
- No advertising.
- No selling or sharing your data.
- No email required to sign up.
Storage
Your account and posts live on a server we operate (foodcrumbs.app, hosted in the EU). Photos and videos are stored on object storage on the same infrastructure.
Deleting your data
You can delete any post any time. To delete your whole account and all media, email hello@foodcrumbs.app from the email you used (or from any address — we'll verify). We'll wipe within 7 days.
